My mother has done the art of living course and is a great devotee of Gurudev. She forwarded these two anecdotes and i assumed she liked it !. This Post dedicated to my dearest Amma & Appa. Without whom i wouldn’t be here in this planet to enjoy this precious knowledge.
1) Once somebody made a mistake and Sri Sri asked him.”what punishment can I give you?” The person replied, “Do not punish me, Guruji , I won’t make the mistake again.
After sometime, Sri Sri asked another person who made a mistake,”And what punishment can I give you ?”
With a bright smile he replied, “Any punishment, Guruji.”
At this Guruji turned to the rest of us with a smile and said,“See,he is so confident of my love for him that he is not afraid of any punishment.”
Where there is love,there is no fear.Do not be afraid of being punished by God.Trust in the love that He has for you.
2) Sri Sri : You ask, “What I am here for? I tell you, find out what you are not here for.
* You are not here to blame.
* You are not here to cry.
* You are not here to sleep.
* You are not here to boast.
* You are not here to fight.
* You are not here to be angry.
* You are not here to be miserable.
* You are not here to worry.
